This broad field of work offers a vast number of job opportunities at all levels. In charge of any construction project is the project manager, who is involved in every stage of the construction process, from the planning to the final closing. The manager may have a supervisor (senior project manager) or assistants (junior project managers).
On-site roles such as site managers require at least five years’ relevant experience. Other positions in the industry include laborers, quantity surveyors and estimators as well as architects, structural workers and machinery operators.
